Masangsoft has officially revealed the schedule for the Closed Beta Test (CBT) of its highly anticipated title, GunZ: The Duel. The global test will be available on Steam from September 25 at 7:00 PM to September 29 at 7:00 PM (PDT). This marks the first opportunity for players to experience the revival of the cult classic. Moreover, this version will offer a focused look at its updated combat systems, redesigned interface, and player-versus-player gameplay.
First launched in 2005, GunZ: The Duel became a defining title of the early online PvP era. Its signature “K Style” combat, featuring wall running, acrobatic movement, and a fluid mix of melee and ranged attacks, set it apart from other shooters of its time. The game’s fast-paced, parkour-inspired mechanics built a dedicated fanbase that has remained loyal for nearly two decades.
Masangsoft’s 2025 relaunch aims to introduce GunZ: The Duel to a new generation of players. All while honoring the original’s high-energy gameplay.
