007 First Light: The Name’s Bond…
The world’s foremost secret agent is returning to gaming. Now, in his rise to super-spydom it’s time for a young James Bond to earn his famous moniker of 007. Today, IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios are proud to announce the global release of 007 First Light. Introducing players to a younger, more reckless, James Bond, the game covers a reimagined origin story for the super spy. For the first time, gamers will be able to embark on Bond’s journey from rookie MI6 recruit to veteran agent. A press release provides some more info on the game, while a trailer gives gamers a look at what to expect.
007 First Light gives players a chance to experience James Bond’s experience climbing the ranks to 007. Importantly, the game will allow players a great deal of versatility in how they approach missions across breathtaking and dangerous exotic set pieces. For instance, will they go in guns blazing, use cunning and infiltration, or charm their way to their goal. Obviously, Bond will have all the tech he needs provided by Q, and each choice players make will feel authentically Bond. Additionally, players will be sneaking, fighting, and charming their way around with iconic Bond music in the background, as no 007 adventure is complete without its soundtrack alongside legendary Bond film composer David Arnold.
