Shape of Dreams Had a Successful Launch, Sold Over 100K Copies Within 24 Hours

Join the Action in the Shape of Dreams

Shape of Dreams has made a stunning debut on Steam, selling more than 100,000 copies and drawing 30,000 concurrent players within its first 24 hours. The co-op action roguelite from NEOWIZ and Lizard Smoothie has quickly captured the attention of gamers worldwide. The developers expressed their gratitude to fans who have already explored its mysterious world, The Rapids, and credited the community’s enthusiasm for the game’s remarkable launch.

Alongside celebrating this milestone, Lizard Smoothie wasted no time responding to player feedback. A hotfix released this morning introduces a friendlier progression system. It also rebalances enemy health and damage on Easy and Normal modes, and boosts Stardust reward drops. These changes aim to smooth out early frustrations and create a more rewarding experience. You can check out the full patch notes here.

“Seeing and acting on the community feedback for Shape of Dreams is a duty we don’t take lightly,” said Eunsop Shim, co-founder and CEO, Lizard Smoothie. “Many fans have been with us since the release of our demo, and we want to continue to deliver an experience worthy of their passion and support. Our team also has plans for more updates, improvements, and new content in Shape of Dreams. Please look forward to announcements from us in the future!”

NEOWIZ and Lizard Smoothie plan to keep monitoring player feedback closely. They are encouraging fans to share their thoughts to help shape the game’s future.

Shape of Dreams is available on Steam for 24.99 USD, currently discounted by 20% until Wednesday, September 24. For an even better deal, players can pick up one of two Steam bundles created in collaboration with Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and Warm Snow, which add an extra 10 percent discount on top of the launch offer.
