Cats & Soup Celebrates 5th Anniversary With Star Cat Village Festival

Enjoy the Festival in Cats & Soup

NEOWIZ’s cozy mobile game Cats & Soup is celebrating its fifth anniversary with the Star Cat Village Appreciation Festival, bringing new events, exclusive rewards, and community-inspired content to mark five years of players decorating forests and enjoying the game’s relaxing atmosphere.

The anniversary update focuses on the Star Cat Forest, introducing an astral-themed celebration that brings players together while incorporating feedback and creative ideas from the community.

One of the biggest highlights is Starbell, a limited-edition cat that players can obtain through the Observatory or Kitty Travel features until September 30. Meanwhile, the 5th Anniversary Star Growing Event runs until September 9, allowing players to nurture a seed into a glowing Cosmic Star Tree with help from Kiki, Titi, or Popo. Players can earn rewards based on their contributions and the tree’s final growth stage.

The update also celebrates the community’s creativity. Two cats submitted through the International Cat Day “Show Off Your Cat” contest will make surprise appearances in the game, while player-designed decorations are available through the 5th Anniversary Special Soup Pass.

Other additions include the Wandering Workshop event, where players can exchange points for themed costumes, furniture, and cat companions. A new Kitten Play Facility lets up to four kittens play together, alongside new cooking and resting facilities that add variety to the cats’ daily activities.

Players can also claim daily login rewards until September 30, including forest-themed costumes, Star Macarons, and a Limited Cat Selection Ticket. NEOWIZ has additionally adjusted returning-player missions to make it easier for players to jump back in.

With five years of cozy cat-filled adventures behind it, Cats & Soup is marking the occasion by giving its community more reasons to return to the forest and enjoy some relaxing moments with their favorite feline friends.
