Gaucho and the Grassland Rolls Out a Major Update for Farroupilha Month

Play the Harmonica in Gaucho and the Grassland

To celebrate the Farroupilha Month, Gaucho and the Grassland have rolled out a substantial update filled with cultural tributes and gameplay improvements. The standout feature is the addition of the Harmonica, a playable instrument that brings both charm and utility. Players can entertain NPCs at CTG gatherings and unlock a new teleportation mechanic that allows them to move swiftly between different map regions. You will also find five new traditional songs to perform, deepening the game’s cultural immersion.

The update also introduces new heritage skins inspired by iconic figures like Bento Gonçalves and Anita Garibaldi, along with fresh accessories such as hats, bandanas, and the elegant gift dress. Players can obtain these skins through quests or a new CTG minigame, with some items available immediately as entry rewards.

Players can now customize their homes with a construction package inspired by teams from Rio Grande do Sul. They can access these internal and external elements through the in-game architect. Economy refinements make farming more meaningful, allowing players to use their harvests to purchase land and special items. Exchange NPCs have been streamlined for clearer roles, while customization screens have been redesigned for a smoother, more intuitive experience.

To celebrate the Gaucho tradition further, the game is offering a 20% discount on Steam from September 12 to 26. The developers have also hinted at more updates on the horizon, promising to expand the world and lore of Gaucho and the Grassland. This month’s update not only enriches gameplay but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to the culture that inspired the game.
