Make Sure to Hide the Corpse
Publisher HyperVR Games and developer Realcast have launched Hide The Corpse on PlayStation VR2 today. This quirky VR sandbox is where players scramble to conceal a body in the most ridiculous ways possible. The game is already available on Meta Quest, and a SteamVR version is currently in development.

The game drops players into a precarious scene, giving them only four minutes to avoid the police by stashing away Gus, the reluctant corpse, before time runs out. Each level uses physics-driven interactions, letting players drag Gus, wipe away fingerprints, and scan retro-inspired rooms for the perfect hiding spot.
The chaos extends across several themed locations. Players can attempt to craft the perfect cover-up in the Museum or stuff Gus into a corner of the Garage. Or they can even take the action beyond borders with more bizarre options. Whether sending Gus to the depths of a Sunken Ship or ejecting him into a zero-gravity Spaceship, every stage offers new obstacles and slapstick opportunities.
To add variety, players can earn points for eliminating evidence and use them to unlock costumes for Gus. Outfits include a glittery Disco getup, zombie makeup, and even a superhero suit. For an extra twist, modifiers such as Flubber make Gus and other objects bounce wildly around, raising the challenge while dialing up the absurdity.
“Hide the Corpse aims to put a lighthearted spin on an otherwise gruesome scenario,’’ said Eneko Barandiaran, Publishing Manager, HyperVR Games. “We hope the PlayStation VR community can get a laugh out of Gus’ post-mortem adventure!”
Hide The Corpse is available now on PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest for 14.99 USD.
