Smart Raven Studio is thrilled to let all the players know that Rune Dice will be under an active playtesting session this week. Anyone can dive into it to provide feedback to the developers directly or fill out a feedback form after playing. This will help the devs in further polishing the game for the players’ ultimate experience.
Rune Dice fuses the calculated depth of deckbuilding with the physical flair of dice-based action. Set in a world shaped by ancient magic, players battle waves of enemies by collecting and throwing mystical rune dice, each offering unique powers and synergies.
Build your own rune deck from a growing collection. Each rune has a distinct effect, such as the Shield Rune, which blocks and reflects attacks, or the Frost Rune, which freezes enemies in place. As you progress, evolve your runes through special rituals, enhancing their abilities and unlocking new strategies. A Poison Rune, for example, can be transformed to spread toxins when enemies fall.
Combat takes place in a dynamic dice arena. Aim and throw your dice each turn to trigger effects or set up future plays. Merge identical dice to create stronger ones, or scatter them across the board for tactical advantage. With each move, you will weigh your options between maximizing immediate power and preparing for the next wave.
Strategic depth grows with each encounter. Adapt your tactics to enemies with unique abilities. Armored foes resist simple strikes, while archers stay at range. Even enemies roll the dice, and merging them can increase the difficulty, making positioning critical.
