Fathom Reach Challenges Players to Survive the Depths as It Launches on Steam

Dive Into the Danger in Fathom Reach

Feldsparc has officially launched Fathom Reach on Steam, bringing its underwater roguelike deckbuilding experience to players looking for a dangerous dive into the depths of a ruined ocean. But surviving beneath the waves won’t be easy, especially when every trip comes with the risk of losing everything you’ve worked for.

In Fathom Reach, players venture into treacherous underwater territories in search of valuable loot, powerful upgrades, and better equipment. The deeper you go, the greater the rewards, but there’s always the possibility of pushing your luck too far. You’ll need to know when to fight, when to collect your winnings, and when it’s time to head back before your hull gives out.

Combat plays a major role, with players reading enemy intentions and chaining cards together to unleash devastating combinations. You can turn Armor into powerful attacks, overwhelm enemies with drone swarms, or let corrosion slowly finish them off. With more than 220 cards spread across four factions, there are plenty of ways to experiment and build a deck around your preferred strategy. Dive modules add another layer of customization, opening up even more possibilities for creative card combinations.

The adventure doesn’t end when you return to the surface. Your collected loot can fund deck upgrades, new hulls, and a heavily defended base. Players can install gun-coral and traps to keep rival divers away, while their defenses continue fighting off attackers even when they’re offline. You can also test your own deck against other players’ bases through asynchronous raids.

Fathom Reach is now available for just $8.09 at a 10% discount until 11 November, and it looks like a promising addition to the roguelike deckbuilder scene. Just don’t get too greedy down there, because one bad dive could cost you everything.
