Keep the Adorable Marchies Alive in MarchMallows
Looking for a chaotic co-op game where keeping your adorable little characters alive is easier said than done? MarchMallows might be worth checking out. Perfect Execution Games has officially opened the Steam playtest for its Lemmings-inspired puzzle game, allowing up to four players to work together, or blame each other when everything goes horribly wrong.
In MarchMallows, players must guide a group of clueless Marchies safely home while dealing with all kinds of dangerous obstacles. The catch? These little creatures will happily walk straight into anything you fail to protect them from.
Players will need to carefully place tools and objects, clear dangerous paths, and work together to keep the Marchies alive. Successfully getting everyone home could earn you some well-deserved praise from your friends. Letting them all meet an unfortunate end, however, might lead to some very different conversations.
The current playtest offers plenty to mess around with, including a co-op campaign, competitive minigames, and a level editor. The editor also lets players create and share their own puzzles, giving the community plenty of opportunities to come up with increasingly ridiculous challenges.
The playtest will remain available until the demo launches, with the build receiving continuous updates along the way. Players can request access through the game’s Steam page.
MarchMallows is being developed by a solo developer based in Stockholm, making the game’s ambitious mix of co-op chaos and puzzle-solving even more interesting.
If you’re looking for a lighthearted multiplayer game that could turn teamwork into chaos, MarchMallows looks like one to keep on your radar.
