Skul: The Hero Slayer Celebrates New Update to Consoles

Defend the Castle, Become Myth

The most famous skeleton around is bringing his newest adventures to consoles. Mythology and castle defense await as a new update arrives to signal the end of this little skeleton’s journey. You think you have what it takes? Today, NEOWIZ is excited to confirm the console release of the newest update for their hit hack-and-slash roguelike, Skul: The Hero Slayer, on consoles. Introducing players to a host of new content, the update invites players to take part in a new game mode while experimenting with brand-new powers and skulls. Importantly, this new DLC is mythologically themed allowing players to collect some very storied skulls.

Skul: The Hero Slayer

Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action platformer that introduces players to the titular skeleton, Skul. This little skeley has a special power. Of course, this power revolves around, well, skulls. He can wear different skulls which grant him various powers based on the skulls he wears. Now, with the introduction of the Mythology DLC pack, Skul is able to put on some very powerful new bones. Importantly, these new skulls will be quite helpful in Skul’s newest mission: defending the Demon King’s castle from siege. In this new game mode, players will need to face off against wave after wave of enemies as they defend the castle and its King.

Of course, console players can now get their shot at Skul: The Hero Slayer’s latest update. Those who haven’t gotten a look at the game and the newest update can check out the trailer below.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
