Enjoy the Adventure in Legends of Castile
The solo dev studio Torrezno Entertainment has announced that the Kickstarter campaign for Legends of Castile will launch in February. The developer also mentioned that there will be an early bird pre-purchasing discount once the digital copy comes out.
For now, you can turn on Notify Me on launch on the Kickstarter pre-launch page. Moreover, a demo version is already out on Steam for everyone to try out.
Legends of Castile is a new fantasy-comedy point-and-click adventure game. It features full HD hand-drawn graphics and a modern interface. The game takes place in 19th-century Spain in the region known as Castile. It follows the story of a village girl named Maria investigating the myths and legends of the place to become a nun.
After a long night with her friends, Maria has a vision of the Virgin Mary which made her decide to become a nun. She goes to a convent in Burgos and requests to be ordained as one.
However, to make her dream come true, she must investigate the mythological creatures that are appearing all over the place. She must collect an item from each of them to prove their existence so the abbot will take action and finish with their threat.
The game will consist of a classic 5-act story with an estimated length of 6-8 hours. You will get to progress by solving various puzzles and riddles and meeting all kinds of characters. All the while defeating fantastic creatures using your wit and exploring places all around Castile.
