Unravel the Conspiracy in Runes
The video game studio Bimordial is proud to introduce its upcoming game Runes. They have finally uploaded the official reveal trailer on their official YouTube page. It will be available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox in 2025. Moreover, the Kickstarter campaign will begin in January 2024, so stay tuned.
Runes is a new single-player open-world RPG that takes place in a fantasy medieval world. The Port city of Lewyst has become infested with crime from all over the realm. Two rival crime chapters compete for influence, while noble families fight over the Barony.
At the center of all these events, lies a potion that is very positive in nature. Sorcerers Guild sent Talesin, the capable yet flawed ‘watcher’ on a mission to investigate this. As he immersed himself in the conspiracy, an unlikely alliance formed between him and Young Vrak. She is a member of the powerful Vrak crime dynasty whose powers are declining. Players will control both the characters at the same time.
Sorcery is an integral part of the game and Runes act as its building blocks. They provide unique skills and abilities. As you explore the fantasy realm, you’ll get to learn more about them and how they function.
The game features a fantastic open world to explore full of rich characters, lore, magic, and legend. Brought alive through beautiful illustrations and short stories. Additionally, it will include a card minigame of the same name that mirrors the game itself.
