Police Simulator Returns in 2027 With K-9 Partners and Realistic Gunplay

The New Police Simulator Is Going Big on Realism

astragon Entertainment has officially unveiled a brand-new Police Simulator, promising its biggest and most ambitious entry in the series yet. Developed by Slovakia-based GRIP Studios, the game is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.

The new installment takes players to Faremont City, a fictional metropolis on the US East Coast featuring three unique districts and up to five neighborhoods within each. As a police officer, you’ll patrol the streets, respond to emergencies, and complete more than 50 different missions, including parking violations, drug-related crimes, thefts, and armed robberies.

One of the game’s biggest additions is its long-awaited K-9 unit. Players can partner with a police dog during patrols, adding a fresh layer of gameplay that fans have been requesting for years. The sequel also introduces the realistic use of firearms and stun guns, with officers expected to follow a proper escalation protocol rather than relying on force immediately.

Beyond walking the beat, players will have access to a diverse fleet of police vehicles, including agile patrol cars and larger SUVs. GRIP Studios has also overhauled the driving experience with improved vehicle handling, dynamic traffic AI, and public transportation systems that make the city feel more alive.

With major upgrades to graphics, gameplay, and realism, Police Simulator looks poised to deliver the series’ most authentic law enforcement experience yet. It’s definitely one to keep an eye on as we await more details.
