Feel the Rhythm in MR. RECORDS
Crank up the music because MR. RECORDS is officially spinning its way onto Nintendo Switch 2. Wired Productions and Glee-Cheese made the announcement of the colorful rhythm adventure during the Future Games Show at Gamescom, giving fans an exciting new look at George’s unforgettable journey.
The game first captured attention at Day of the Devs during Summer Game Fest, where it earned one of only 20 showcase spots from more than 1,700 submissions. Its vibrant art style, cozy atmosphere, and heartfelt love for music quickly made it one of the event’s standout indie titles.
The announcement also came alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer that introduces George, an aging dreamer who finally opens the record shop he has always wanted. Instead of simply selling vinyl, George experiences every record as a magical musical adventure. Each album pulls him into imaginative rhythm worlds packed with colorful environments and perfectly timed platforming challenges.
Players will hunt for new records, master rhythm-based levels, and return to the shop to match customers with their perfect soundtrack. Every sale helps George earn money, expand his collection, and unlock new chapters of his emotional story.
Each vinyl creates its own distinct world, with landscapes that transform alongside the music. Players can run, jump, slide, and chain smooth rhythm moves together as every beat brings the world to life.
With its creative gameplay, memorable visuals, and heartfelt story, MR. RECORDS looks ready to strike all the right notes when it arrives on Nintendo Switch 2.
