Now, what if they could construct something out of their most interesting fact? Luckily, gamers can find out. Today, George Fan, the creator of Plants vs. Zombies, and All Yes Good are happy to announce the release date for their upcoming puzzle platformer, Hardhat Wombat. Releasing on October 24th on Steam, the game invites players to become a wombat and platform their way through various levels. Interestingly, the fact that wombats poop in cubes offers a very important gameplay mechanic. A press release provides details about the game. Hardhat Wombat introduces players to a hard-working wombat. As the wombat players will adventure across seven distinct worlds where they will platform and solve mind-bending puzzles. Importantly, players will need to learn to stack their cube-shaped poo perfectly to overcome several different challenges. Of course, this is far from the only challenge they will encounter. As players advance through 92 different levels they will encounter levels that include crazy dynamite bundles and beetle hunts. Furthermore, as players continue their journey they can unlock additional game modes where they can compete against others for poop-stacking supremacy.
