It has been almost a month since the release of Mortal Kombat 1 on the Nintendo Switch on 19 September 2023. And even though it had a very successful launch, it admittedly didn’t deliver its best state on the platform. Ed Boon, the director of the game promised that the development team will “absolutely” update to resolve these issues.

Now the wait is finally over, with the above statement in mind, they have released a new update of the game. It includes a number of balance changes, fixes, loading time and performance improvements, and even some visual improvements. Go ahead and download it to enjoy the newly improved version to your heart’s content.

On a related note, reports suggest that there might be a possible reveal of the game at New York Comic Con 2023 this week. While Boon has seemingly ruled out an OmniMan gameplay trailer, there is still potential for them to showcase something else.
