AGDQ 2024 Schedule Unveiled

The AGDQ Schedule for Next Year Has Been Revealed

The Games Done Quick (GDQ) organization has unveiled the schedule for Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2024, an exciting charity speedrunning marathon returning as an in-person event. AGDQ 2024 is set to take place from January 14 to January 21, offering a thrilling lineup of over 100 different speed runs that span multiple eras, from NES classics to recent releases like The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom. The event serves a noble cause, as all funds raised will go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a charity supported by the AGDQ marathon since 2011.

This year’s AGDQ will make a triumphant return to the in-person format, streaming live from the Wyndham Grand in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It marks the first in-person Awesome Games Done Quick since the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted events worldwide. Its summer counterpart, Summer Games Done Quick, transitioned back to a live event in 2022 and raised a remarkable $2.2 million for Doctors Without Borders during the 2023 event.

AGDQ 2024 boasts a fantastic schedule with highlights including:

  • Sunday, January 14: Featuring Tunic, Donkey Kong Country, Ultimate Doom, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
  • Monday, January 15: Presents Cassette Beasts, Mega Man 3, Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, and Pikmin 4.
  • Tuesday, January 16: Showcasing Dead Space (2023), Gyromite, Octopath Traveler II, and Hades.
