Say Hi to the new CyberpunkÂ
Phantom Liberty is right around the corner. As such, it’s time for one final dive into the themes, its world, and the story of the expansion. Today, CD PROJEKT RED is happy to release the official launch trailer for their hit RPG’s, Cyberpunk 2077, new expansion. The expansion, titled Phantom Liberty, is reintroducing players to the dystopian existence of Night City and the world of Cyberpunk. This trailer allows players to acquaint themselves with the sort of themes that will present themselves in the game’s newest chapter. Phantom Liberty reintroduces players to cybernetic mercenary, V. However, this story takes V on a bit of a different journey. Instead of the adrenaline-fueled action ride of the base game, players will be stepping into a dystopian spy thriller set in the political side of Night City. Of course, the expansion comes with a completely new storyline that thrusts players into a new location, Dogtown, as V becomes swept up in a political plot full of corporate spies and subterfuge. Additionally, players can look forward to entirely new gameplay features. For instance, Â an entirely reworked perk system and even revamped vehicle combat are making an appearance. Furthermore, players can also look forward to fighting for liberty alongside Idris Elba portraying Solomon Reed.Â
