Star Wars Jedi 3 Announced by Cameron Monaghan

Actor Confirms that Star Wars Jedi 3 Is On Its Way

During the Ocala Comic-Con event in Florida, Cameron Monaghan, the actor who plays Cal Kestis in Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi series, revealed that he is working on a third game in the franchise. Monaghan stated that they are in the process of making the game, and it is a big undertaking. He also mentioned that there are some conversations going on about the next game. Monaghan’s comments confirm that a third game in the series, currently just called Star Wars Jedi 3, is in development.

The Star Wars Jedi series was planned as a trilogy, so a third entry in the series would not be a surprise. However, the director of the series, Stig Asmussen, has left Respawn and parent company EA, so the third entry in the series would go forward without him.In addition to the potential third Star Wars Jedi game, Respawn is working on its popular battle royale game Apex Legends and has a new Star Wars FPS in the works.

Respawn is also assisting Bit Reactor on a Star Wars strategy game.Tina Ivlev, who plays Nightsister Merrin in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, appeared on the Comic-Con panel alongside Monaghan. She did not discuss a third entry in the Star Wars Jedi series but said that she will appear in the Call of Duty franchise in the future. It is unknown whether this is a role in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or a different project.
