Brawlhalla Enters the Ring With Fighters From Tekken in Crossover

I’m Tekken You Down!

Tekken 8 will be coming out early next year and fighting games have to stick together. While they are wildly different in design and structure, characters from the Tekken series will be spending some time in Brawlhalla before their next game.

The Tekken fighters in this crossover are Devil Jin, Nina Williams, and Yoshimitsu. Like the other crossover characters, these fighters take on the abilities of Legends in Brawlhalla. Devil Jin is a skin of Zariel, Nina is a skin of Lucien, and Yoshimitsu is a skin of Jiro.

This crossover also comes with a neat Tekken emote. A character can start gaming on an original Tekken arcade cabinet and characters can join in by emoting nearby. There are also some Tekken-themed avatars, emojis, and a KO effect. Mishima Dojo becomes a playable map for 1v1 matches and Tekken Brawl is a new map for Volleybrawl.

Something not part of the crossover is an experimental gadget called Sticky Bomb. There are no surprises here; it is what it sounds like. In Training Mode or the Experimental queues, you can throw the Sticky Bomb at enemies, where it will detonate a short time later. It can also be passed on to other fighters for a game of Hot Potato.

Brawlhalla is free-to-play on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
