The Assassins Are HereÂ
New threats are emerging in the Tyrtaeus sector. Of course, the Imperium of Man has its own answers for these threats. Prepare to say hello to the Officio Assassinorum. Today, Complex Games and Frontier Foundry are excited to announce a new DLC for their turn-based tactics game, Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate- Daemonhunters. The new DLC, titled Execution Force, is bringing new Assassin classes to the game as well as a brand new threat to face off against. A press release goes into more detail about the DLC. Additionally, a reveal trailer introduces players to the Officio Assassinorum agents at their disposal.Â
Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate- Daemonhunters takes players to the grim dark of the far future. In command of a chapter of elite Space Marines, known as Grey Knights, players work to stop a Nurgle-plague in the Tyrtaues sector. Now, these Grey Knights have even more backup. Importantly, they’ll need them. A new threat, the Tentarus Hive, means more enemies for players to face off against. Luckily, the Execution Force DLC is bringing four new assassin classes.Â
Firstly, the Vindicare Assassin specializes in long-range weapons, while the Eversor Assassin brings the fight to enemies with berserker rage. Of course, the Culexus Assassin nullifies Psyker powers negating the most powerful units of an enemy force, while finally, the Callidus Assassin strikes from the shadow sowing dissent in the enemy ranks. Importantly, Force Commanders can deploy one of these special assassins in each of their squads to deal with the Tentarus Hive and stop its corruption.
