Poncle, an independent studio, released Vampire Survivors in 2021 to major fanfare, and the game has grown beyond expectations since then. The company has announced that it will release on Nintendo Switch on August 17th alongside a free update that adds a local four-player cooperative mode. The game is currently available on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Android devices.

Interested players can get their hands on the game’s Switch version on August 17th, at a price of $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99 with all the latest updates. The update includes the upcoming four player co-operative mode. Moreover, players can get their hands on the downloadable contents, Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari available for purchase for for $1.99 / €1.99 / £1.59 each. Thus, Nintendo Switch users can use their joy-cons as they fight to reach the end of the night.

Moreover, the couch cooperative mode is a free update that lets players enjoy the entire journey through the game together on PC, Steam Deck, Xbox and now the Switch. Thus, players must be able to work alongside their friends as challenges arise, and can seamlessly switch between solo and co-op play. In the game, players must fight against thousands of night creatures until dawn. Poncle has mixed rogue-lite and horror elements to provide a unique experience where thousands of monsters rain down and must be destroyed.
