Starship Troopers: Extermination Early Access Roadmap UnveiledÂ
Offworld Industries released its co-op FPS, Starship Troopers: Extermination, on PC via Steam in early access on May 17th, 2023. Since its release into early access, the company has been planning content drops for the community. Today, the developers have unveiled the roadmap for the game, showing off five phases of content. Interested fans can purchase the game today in Early Access on Steam for the price of $24.99USD.
Via an official release, the team stated, “Ready for the good news? Review the dossier issued below. It represents our latest intel on what’s coming, where it’ll be, and how we’re gonna dropkick their Bug asses into the nearest black hole!
Please note, this roadmap is subject to change based on player feedback and development shifts.” Moreover, across Phases 1 to 5, players will get access to new content such as emotes, clans, weapons, classes, ability upgrades and customization options.
In the game, players will have the opportunity to join the Deep Space Vanguard, a Special Forces Branch of the Mobile Infantry, where they must fight against aliens for humanity.
In the past, early access attracted a bad reputation as developers used it to garner money, without pouring it back into the game. However, the approach has changed recently, and developers are using the process appropriately, to improve their video games ahead of release. Fans can remain hopeful that Offworld Industries is doing the same with their exciting co-op FPS, especially given the roadmap.
