Grab Cash for a CauseÂ
Warzone 2.0 is ready to invite players to extract copious amounts of in-game cash. Of course, these extractions are for a good cause. Today, The Call of Duty Endowment is happy to announce its latest initiative arriving in Call of Duty’s Warzone 2.0. The initiative, titled Loot for Good, is inviting players to hop into Warzone and extract as much in-game cash as possible. Furthermore, War Hippies has released a trailer for the event where the lyrics reflect the cause.Â
Taking place from May 1st – May 7th, the Loot for Good event is asking players to try their hand at extracting in-game cash. For every $30,000 of Warzone cash extracted, Activision Blizzard will allocate $1 as part of a $1 million total donation to the Endowment. Of course, every dollar that goes to the Endowment is used to place veterans in high-quality jobs to ensure they can make a living after their service.Â
For those who don’t know, the Call of Duty Endowment is an organization centering around employment for veterans. Last year, the Endowment hit the incredible milestone of placing 100k veterans into high-quality jobs. Additionally, the Endowment is always seeking to educate gamers and non-gamers alike on veteran employment. A press release goes into more detail on female veteran employment.
The Loot for Good event starts today and goes until May 7th. So, will you be jumping into Warzone for the cause?Â
