Celebrate 100k Veterans Employed
Two years ahead of their projected timeline, The Call of Duty Endowment has reached its milestone of 100k veterans meaningfully employed. For those unaware, The Call of Duty Endowment is an organization founded with a goal for veterans. The goal? Providing veterans with meaningful employment following their military service. Of course now, they have hit this massive milestone. So, celebrating is in order.Â
In order to celebrate this momentous milestone, and in honor of Military Appreciation Month, Activision is reviving the C.O.D.E. Defender Pack. This pack, containing a large amount of in game content, is available for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. The content includes skins, sprays, calling cards and emblems. Additionally the pack contains a rare pistol blueprint, The Defender, with custom-themed Optic and Reticle.Â
In addition to the announcement of the milestone, and the celebration, Activision also made another pledge. Activision Blizzard is committing to $30million in additional funding for the Call of Duty Endowment. This will include funding the program for the next five years.Â
Furthermore, a blog post about the celebration includes details on how the Defender Pack helps the Endowment. For instance, 100% of the proceeds from the pack will go towards employing veterans. The pack will continue to be on sale until $2 million USD have been raised for the cause. Players can get a better look at the packs contents in a video about the Defender Pack.Â
