Mega Cat Studios is an indie developer that has worked on several interesting titles. These include Wrestle Quest, Renfield and Ronin’s Tale. The team has partnered with publisher Ziggurat Interactive to release World Championship Boxing Manager II. The game is already available on PC via Steam and GOG, since January 17th, 2023. The companies have confirmed that it will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 17th. It is described as a business tycoon and sports simulation game.

In the game, players will enjoy a long-awaited sequel to its predecessor, which released in 1991. Furthermore, players will enlist a team of fighters, trainers and coaches and take them from the ground to the world championship. Moreover, players must be able to manage their fitness regimes, training and more to create the best roster possible. Also, boxing fans will engage with former boxing legends and professionals such as Rocky Marciano, Sue Fox and Sugar Ray Robinson.

Additionally, in the game, players will enjoy 32-bit visuals with modern features including dynamic lighting and a fight cam as well as eight story mode scenarios to enjoy, each with its own path. The World Championship Boxing Manager II takes players back to a different era in gaming with less of a focus on graphics and more on gameplay and micromanagement. The possibilities are endless as the game is packed with fun, humor, heart and personality that made the first game popular.
