Today Mega Cat Studios is happy to announce the release of their management sim, World Championship Boxing Manager 2. The sequel to the 1991 game, the newest installation combines roster building with management sim, and tycoon elements. A press release provides more details about the games release. Furthermore, a new release trailer shows off the gameplay and what players can expect.
World Championship Boxing Manager 2 places players in the shoes of a budding boxing manager. Your goal, make the strongest roster of boxers in the world. Importantly, players will be responsible for their own success. This includes hiring new boxers to your roster, hiring staff to train them, new managers, and more. Of course, the boxers themselves need to be specifically trained. Lucky for you, you are able to build the boxer of your dreams. The game features an expansive skill tree allowing you to create a boxer with a fighting style you’d prefer. From one punch wonders, to unstoppable stamina machines and everything in between.
Importantly it wouldn’t be a proper boxing game without some legends. The game features former pro boxers Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Sue “Tiger Lily” Fox. Of course, a whole roster of fictional characters await you as well. Players can get a look at all of the action in the new release trailer.
