Marvel’s Avengers Final Content Update Is Now Available

Marvel’s Avengers is arguably the biggest movie franchise in history. The movies soared to success, and naturally a video game and other content followed. The game was originally released in 2020. However, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix, despite content updates, announced that the game will be closed and official support will end on September 30th, 2023. However, before the close of the game, the developers released Patch v2.8. It is available on PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

Via its official Twitter, the team stated, “Update 2.8 unlocks nearly all Marketplace items for free, in addition to adding final buffs that will make Heroes feel more powerful as you continue to enjoy Marvel’s Avengers in the future!”  Furthermore, the developers have announced that as a parting gift, players will be given a special Founder’s Gift, Iron Man’s Variable Threat Response Battle Suit. Moreover, Crystal Dynamics has continued to make quality of life changes for players still enjoying the game in its combat and user interface.

Unfortunately, Marvel’s Avengers, despite having a hyped launch, suffered from various issues. Fans complained that there was a harmful and exploitative micro-transactions scheme as well as the combat and gameplay being a bit repetitive. However, with the success of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, fans can look forward to other Marvel and superhero games. Also, comic book fans may have some fun with Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
