Bandai Namco is a widely successful video game developer and publisher. The team has been behind the releases of Elden Ring, One Piece: Odyssey and Lego Brawls. Recently, the company announced Tekken 8, the latest iteration in one of the most popular fighters in gaming. Tekken, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat have often led the way. Today, the team has released a trailer for an iconic character from the game, King. The game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, there is no confirmed release date just yet.

Thus far, Bandai Namco has described the game as, “The TEKKEN series holds the record of being the longest-running story in a video game franchise. Just as the ending dialogue of Tekken 7 mentioned, this new entry will focus on the father and son showdown between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.” Furthermore, players will enjoy a game powered by Unreal Engine 5 and be available only on next-gen consoles, allowing for a push in technology. Moreover, the game will feature HD character models and immersive graphics.
