It’s time to get going. Jump into the new world of Solistia, meet a whole new party, and begin the adventure. Today, Square Enix is happy to announce the release of a new demo for their upcoming RPG, Octopath Traveler II. Releasing on February 24th, 2023 the second installment of the RPG series is promising to deliver a whole new experience while staying close to the roots of the games. A press release delves into the details of the new prologue demo, and what players can expect from it. Additionally, a new trailer gives fans a look at the demo itself.Â
Octopath Traveler II introduces players to the world of Solistia. Though it aims to deliver all of the charm of the original game to players, the second installment, will feature a myriad of new mechanics. Importantly, this list includes new latent powers for characters, an enhanced break and boost battle system, and obviously, a whole new storyline. Additionally, this game will feature brand new characters to meet and bond with. Of course, these new characters will all function as distinctive protagonists as you explore this new world.Â
Of course, players can get a look at the world itself in the new prologue demo trailer. Importantly, the demo is providing players with three hours of playtime in which all of their progress will be saved and carried over upon full release. Check out the trailer below.Â
Octopath Traveler II is releasing on February 24th, 2023. Currently, pre-orders are available for the game. It will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and 5, and PC via Steam. So, will you be trying the prologue demo out?Â
