No Safe Harbor
You’re down on your luck. A fisherman with very little to catch. Now, you’re stepping into a mystery that haunts the collection of islands you inhabit. These are murky waters. Today, Team17 and Black Salt Games are happy to announce the release date for their upcoming fishing adventure, Dredge. Releasing on March 30th, the game will be available PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox consoles. A press release delves into all of the dark details about the game. Furthermore, players can check out the new release date trailer for a look at Dredge’s art style and gameplay.Â
Dredge invites players to step into the boots of a fisherman. Now, you may not be having the best luck out there but you haven’t given up. Captaining their vessel through the eerie archipelago players will adventure through the waters between islands, collecting fish and treasures. Of course, once your boat is full, you can return to one of several little towns full of strange citizens, and sell your wares. Selling things allows players to buy new equipment and upgrades for their ship. However, be warned, if you stay on the water after dark you may not like what comes hunting for you.Â
The game features an open world players can explore. Meeting the inhabitants of each remote island, discovering new wildlife, and finding stories and mysteries is all a major part of the game. Importantly, players can get a look at the game in the new release date trailer. Check it out below.Â
