Witcher 3:Wild Hunt Complete Edition Physical Version Releases Soon
CD Projekt Red is a Polish video game company that struck gold with The Witcher franchise and has worked on Cyberpunk 2077 as well. The company has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition’s physical version will release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on January 26th. This version previously released as a free update on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 14th, 2022.
Players that purchase the game on next-gen consoles will enjoy a host of upgrades. These include Performance and Ray Tracing modes, support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, faster loading times, and much more. Additionally, users on the PlayStation 5 will have access to advanced haptics and adaptive triggers on the Dualsense Controllers, which allows for a more immersive and enjoyable experience.
Moreover, the developers have introduced fresh content into the next-gen version including items and quests from the Witcher Netflix television series as well as other quality of life additions. These quality of life changes include quick sign casting, Photo Mode, maps and UI tweaks and cross-platform progression. The Complete Edition features the base game, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions and sixteen other pieces of content. In the game, players head into various adventures as Geralt of Rivia and must defeat many enemies while saving lives. The Witcher Netflix series is also a cool addition to the world created years ago and provides great material.
