The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was one of last generation’s most expansive games. Now it has finally been brought to the current generation with last month’s free upgrade. Everything old is new again. However, a leak indicates that we are not quite done with this release.
It appears that the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is getting a physical release native to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Maybe you were someone who completely missed the game when it came out on Xbox One and PS4. Maybe you also just prefer physical discs over digital games. This is just for you then.
The box art is updated with the next-gen game art, and is plastered with accolades and new features. Just like the Complete Edition on PC and the previous generation, this one will come packed with all the DLC of the original game.
If you are worried about paying $60+ for an 8 year old game, don’t be. The physical copy is apparently only going to be $35, which is a great deal considering all the content. Not only does it come with all the original and additional content, but it comes with a few physical items as well. There is a map, a bunch of stickers, and a copy of The Witcher Universe: Compendium.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The physical version of the PS5/Xbox Series X|S edition will supposedly come out on January 26th.
