PAYDAY 3 Will Feature The Original Gang In New York And More
In 2021, StarBreeze Studios along with Koch Media announced that the long awaited and hyped PAYDAY 3 will be releasing sometime soon. The game will officially release sometime in 2023 and today, the company has released an FAQ discussing some of the finer details of the game. It is an explosive sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters of the past decade. Interested fans can wish list the game on Steam today.
Elisabeth, Community Manager at StarBreeze Studios, has worked on PAYDAY 2 and PAYDAY: Crime War. In the latest blog post, Elisabeth provides some answers in an FAQ as fans patiently await the game’s release. Firstly, the game will release sometime in 2023, however there is no set date just yet. Secondly, the game is being developed in Unreal Engine and the original gang will make its return. Players will be able to use Wolf, Chains, Dallas and Hoxton in New York.
Furthermore, players will be able to enjoy the game on PlayStation and Xbox consoles and as the game is being developed in Unreal Engine, the PC and console versions will be the same game. Finally, the team is yet to confirm the game’s price upon release.
In the high octane co-op FPS, players will step out of retirement in the life of crime in the shoes of the infamous gang as they deal with law enforcement and more.
