Intel Unveils 13th Generation of Mobile Processors and More at CES

Advancements in computer technology are always exciting to see. Especially when they boast superior performance to anything that has come before. Today, Intel is proud to announce the 13th generation of Mobile Processors and much more at CES. Specifically, Intel was happy to announce the flagship model of processors the Intel Core i9-13980HX. Of course, these new processors are the most advanced that Intel has ever created, and are also the most powerful. A press release provides more details on the newest processors as well as a few more special announcements from Intel. 

Intel 13th Gen

The Intel Core i9-13980HX is the first 24-core processor for a laptop. Offering the highest clock speed available, at 5.6 gigahertz (GHz) turbo frequency, for the laptop market the newest processor family is next level. Additionally, on top of being 24-core processors, the 13th gen also offers 32 threads, full memory support of up to 128 gigabyte, and an improved integrated graphics experience. 

“Together with Intel we continue to innovate to deliver powerful PC performance and experiences with Windows 11 and all of the products Intel is announcing today,” said Panos Panay, Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Microsoft. “We’re excited for customers to benefit from substantial optimizations, like improved Windows support for Intel Hybrid Guided Scheduler.”

In addition to the Intel Core i9-13980HX, Intel is also introducing 13th Gen Intel Core P-series and U-series mobile processors. These new series are bringing high performance to thin systems. Furthermore, fans can look at the Intel Evo laptop specification designs with 13th Gen Intel Core processors. Of course, these laptops will continue to raise the bar on performance, battery life, fast charge, and more.
