Dead Island 2’s Showcase Shows Off Action-Packed Gameplay And More
Dead Island 2 is a fast-paced, action packed FPS and RPG set in Los Angeles. The game is set to launch on April 28th, 2023 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Ahead of its release, Deep Silver and Plaion, the companies behind the game, have held a showcase. In the showcase, viewers got a look at some cool gameplay as well as a live action short movie.
In the live action movie, viewers saw three fictional characters search for a safe haven following the virus outbreak. Soon enough, the characters will realize that the enemies are everywhere. Moreover, in the showcase, fans got a look at the game through the Welcome To HELL-A Trailer. The trailer showed off the game’s gore tech, upgradable weapon and combat system and its zombies. Furthermore, players can use Alexa Game Control feature to quickly perform in-game actions using voice.
Interested fans can pre-order Dead Island 2’s Hell-A Edition. This version includes various additional items such as the Expansion Pass, Venice Beach Travel Map, weapon packs, the Exclusive Steelbook and six slayer tarot cards. Dead Island 2 is a long awaited title and fans are hyped for the continuation of the series, as the game is known to offer hours of fun as players smash zombies with a variety of weapons and more.
