God of War: Ragnarok Devs May Not Have Plans for DLC
God of War: Ragnarok is one of the biggest games in the market today. Many critics commended it for having perfected the blending of adventure and story telling. With that said, the gaming public started to wonder what content devs have planned when it comes to a future DLC.
Unfortunately, it would seem that they have nothing planned in the near future. Some God of War: Ragnarok may have expected this. After all, 2018’s God of War did not get any DLC treatment either. Game Director Eric Williams wants the fans of the franchise to manage their expectations when it comes to this matter.
“That game is big,” Williams said. “I think we put everything we had into it so I would not count on it.” This was not a fully committed concrete answer from Williams. However, the way that he has worded his statement has made fans believe one thing. It would certainly seem that a DLC is not on the development team’s minds.
However, it is worth noting that this does not automatically mean the devs have no plans of tweaking the game in any way. After all, fans of the game are already well aware that a photo mode is coming at some point. Plus, it is due to get some quality of life and behind-the-scenes improvements as well.
God of War: Ragnarok’s Day One patch fixed a lot of the issues that players complained about. With that said, devs are expectedly going to release others that will more glitches as time goes on.
Williams, however, confirmed to the gaming public that the would like to tackle the Castlevania franchise next. Developing a Dracula game with the same treatment they gave the God of War franchise would definitely be an interesting experiment.
