Dead Island 2 Suffers Another Unfortunate Delay Later Into 2023
Publisher Deep Silver along with developer, Dambuster Studios, were prepared to release their upcoming title, Dead Island 2, in February 2023. Unfortunately, today, the companies have announced that the game will suffer another delay. The new release date for the title is 28th April, 2023. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In its official release, Deep Silver, the team behind Saints Row and Metro, stated, “We have some important news to share, so let’s rip that band aid off straight away. We are delaying Dead Island 2—the new release date will be April 28, 2023.” Furthermore, the publisher explained that the game will face a twelve week delay and takes full blame for the issue. Moreover, the purpose of the delay is to facilitate changes to make the best game at launch. However, fans have something to look forward to as the developers will be released a new trailer and gameplay at Dead Island 2 Showcase.
In Dead Island 2, players enter a fast-paced and thrilling world set in the hellish version of Los Angeles. There, players can enjoy the sights while fighting hordes of zombies in fun and exquisite style. Additionally, the game will improve on its predecessor in a few ways and offer a brutal sandbox experience as well as a cinematic co-op experience that is perfect for a group of friends! The game has a lot of promise.
