Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Shows Off Sharpshooter ClassÂ
Fatshark is an independent video game developer involved in the release of several Warhammer titles. The company has confirmed the release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on November 30th, 2022 on PC via Steam as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Today, the developers have unveiled a new trailer showing off the Sharpshooter class, which is inspired by the Imperial Guard.
In the trailer, viewers get a first look at some intense combat as ‘The Veteran’ wields several weapons and takes down enemies. The Veteran or Sharpshooter is tough, prepared to fight and will fight to their death. The Sharpshooter specializes in ranged combat, by keeping the foes at a distance and using powerful weapons against targets. Furthermore, players will find the most use out of the class when their enemy is vulnerable and they can take their time to aim.
Moreover, players can activate various skills and abilities in the class such as increased weak spot damage, accuracy and handling. Additionally, their frag grenade does a ton of damage to a specific area and is perfect for clearing out hordes of enemies and destroying enemy positions.
In the game, players will head back to the city of Tertium where they will encounter hordes of bloodthirsty enemies. Also, Fatshark has worked on evolving the game’s combat by introducing fresh gunplay mechanics allowing players to master both melee and ranged combat skills.
