Warhammer 40K: Darktide Has Been Delayed on PC

Fatshark is an independent video game developer that deals with various Warhammer titles. In the past, the company has successfully released Warhammer: Vermintide 2 and Warhammer End-Times: Vermintide. The company has announced that its upcoming project, Warhammer 40K: Darktide, has been delayed on PC. Furthermore, the company will announce the game’s release date on Xbox Series X/S sometime later.

Via its Twitter release from its CEO and co-founder Martin Wahlund, the developers stated that delaying a game is one of the most difficult decisions that can be made. However, the developers are committed to taking the time to do what is necessary and produce the best possible game. Furthermore, players have provided feedback thus far on the game and in time, the developers will improve the game’s stability, performance and key systems.

Additionally, based on the feedback, players will soon have access to technical tests and betas prior to launch to allow for the best possible product. In closing, the developers thanked fans for their excitement and appreciation thus far.

In Warhammer 40K: Darktide, players must head to the dangerous city of Tertium where they will fight various foes in an intense and action-paced FPS. Players will be able to create their own character, playstyle and enjoy unique gameplay that mixes ranged and melee elements into its combat system. Moreover, players will jump into a unique storyline where a violent and dystopian world must be saved by the Inquisition.
