Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Release Date Announced Along With Trailer
The Warhammer universe is one of the most expansive in the gaming world. The Warhammer trademark is used by various developers across different genres. The fantasy world has been created in Total War: Warhammer, Warhammer Vermintide and Warhammer 40,000. Today, the Darktide team have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be releasing on PC and Xbox Series X/S on September 13th, 2022. Interested fans can wish-list the game here. Since its announcement, the game has remained in the Steam Top 10 for wishlisted games.
In its release, Fatshark, the game’s developers, noted that it wants to release the best four player co-op experience possible. As a result, the release of the game was pushed back from Spring 2022 to September. The additional time would allow the company to finetune and perfect the experience.
In closing, the team noted that it will unveil more information over the upcoming months. Along with the confirmation, the team released an announcement trailer. The trailer gave fans some insight into what the team was doing in the meantime, which in this case, is playing cards. But, before the trailer ends, fans get a few seconds of some action!
In Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, players will experience co-op gameplay in the 41st millenium. Additionally, players will go into the hive city of Tertium and fight against hordes of enemies. Players will have access to a variety of weapons to use. Both aiming and melee skills will be necessary to surpass the challenge as the clashes between the Imperium and Chaos factions are full of violence!
