Befriend the Greek Gods in Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

Greek Gods With Beach Bods

We have seen almost every side of the gods of Greek mythology. There is the brutal versions of God of War and the sexy cartoon versions of Hades. In Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, we see the friendlier, mid-vacation versions of the gods.

This game is from Polygon Treehouse, the makers of Röki, which came out for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2020. Characters are a central focus in the games from Polygon Treehouse and Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island will capitalize on their characters. You’re going to have to get to know them to be BFFs.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

The premise of this game is that the Greek gods have been vacationing. They’re are all on a tropical island, where Alex (not a god) has been shipwrecked. The trouble in paradise is that the gods have forgotten who they are. Alex will have to learn more about them and the island to restore their memories.

You won’t find all the gods in their traditional, ancient Greek togas. Their designs are a little more modernized and exaggerated based on their godly traits. Hades is emo goth dude, Poseidon is a ripped beach bro, and Ares is a veteran. These are just a few of the recognizable gods that Alex will be befriending.

Mythwrecked was just announced today, so there is no release date. We also don’t know which platforms will support the game, only that it will be coming out in 2023.
