Hogwarts Legacy Will Not Have Playable Quidditch Or MicrotransactionsÂ
Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming fantasy RPG set in the mystical and popular universe of Harry Potter. Despite various delays, the game is set to release on February 10th, 2023. It will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Today, the developers have released a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ blog discussing some of the more pertinent concerns about the game. The answers have revealed a ton of cool information about the game!
In the FAQ, the developers answered a variety of questions. Firstly, the game will not have Quidditch as a playable mode, however players can use broom flight for traversal around the world and explore new areas surrounding the castle. Secondly, the game will not include microtransactions. Thirdly, in Hogwarts Legacy, players will be able to undergo various classes and explore in and around Hogwarts such as the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village.
In the game, players will enter an immersive, open world experience set in the 1800s wizarding world. Players, as students, will embark on a dangerous journey while growing their character and establishing relationships with other schoolmates who will join them on the journey. The possibilities are endless!
