Disney Dreamlight Valley’s First Major Content Update Is Coming Next Month
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s first major update is due to come out in October. Gameloft has already previously confirmed that the new content will bring in Scar from the Lion King and also continue the game’s main story line. Unfortunately, no details have been provided about a specific time frame.
“While we cannot share exact timing yet, we are targeting a release in around 3 weeks,” devs wrote on social media. “We have been blown away by the excitement you have brought to the valley but also know there are still issues to be tackled.”
The update will also bring in a much improved photo mode and new avatar poses, in addition to any bug fixes. At the moment, the Disney Dreamlight Valley team is hard at work on fixing three high priority problems. The three main issues that bugger the game’s players are console crashes, progress loss, and missing Founder’s Pack rewards.
Fans are expecting to get some updates on these issues in the coming weeks. After all, it would seem that Gameloft is getting a lot closer to locking the fixes. According to multiple reports, there is a total of more than 40 fixes that are coming to the game. These fixes will reportedly address quest progression blockers, audio distortion on the Switch, and rain not properly watering crops.
Disney Dreamlight Valley launched in Early Access for PC and consoles this month. It is due for a full release in 2023. Fortunately for fans, the life simulation adventure game will be free-to-play at launch. However, they will have to buy a Founder’s Pack worth $29.99 if they want to be able to participate in the Early Access period.
