Bayonetta Getting Physical Release for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Witch!

Bayonetta 3 is just one month away from release! It seems like this game has been in development hell, but it is finally on the horizon. Now is probably the best time to play/replay the first two to get yourself ready. Soon, you will be able to get a physical copy of the first game.

The second game was exclusive to Wii U when it launched. When the Nintendo Switch port came out, the physical edition came with a code for Bayonetta 1. You may be asking, “Why would I buy a physical copy of the first game, when I could get both with that deal?”

Bayonetta 1&2

Supposedly, the codes for the first game may be expiring soon. You may be able to get an updated code if you contact the Nintendo eShop and provide proof of purchase though. The combo pack with Bayonetta 2 is the price of two games, as well, so if you only want the first game, it will be half the cost.

If you’re just dipping your toes into the franchise and don’t know if you want to heavily invest in it, this might be the best deal for you. It might also just look nice to have physical copies of all three games lined up on your shelf. Do what makes you happy, fam.

Bayonetta is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch. The physical copy for the Switch will be available on September 30th. Bayonetta 3 will be coming out on October 28th exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
