Multiversus’ Season One And Morty Set To Launch Soon
Warner Bros Interactive recently released Multiversus into open beta. The game is an action brawler that features some of the world’s favorite characters such as Shaggy, Batman, Superman and even Arya Stark. Today, the company has confirmed that Season One will begin on August 15th with a brand new battle pass and that Morty will be joining the character roster from August 23rd. Interested fans can try the game for free on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Via its official Twitter, the developers stated, “We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards! We can also confirm Morty will join the character roster on August 23 as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!” Furthermore, the developers have confirmed that new modes and content will release over the course of Season One and not on its release date.
In the game, players are thrown into the multiverse where they can engage in 1v1 or 2v2 matches with characters from the Warner Bros Universe. At the moment, some of the characters available include Bugs Bunny, Wonder Woman and Jake The Dog. Furthermore, fans are looking forward to the release of Morty from the iconic animated series, Rick n Morty. Additionally, players will fight in popular locations in Multiversus such as the Batcave and Jake’s Treefort.
