The Great Old Ones have awoken, and they are kind of destroying the world. Today LLC Blini Games is happy to announce that their strategic roguelike RPG, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is releasing this September. A press release about the game provides more details. Additionally, a new trailer gives players a look at the heroes they can choose to play as.
Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 places players back in control of the heroes from the first game. However, this time, there’s three more. Alongside the original heroes players will have access to the Medium, the Veteran, and the Alienist. Of course each comes with their own special abilities, playstyles and more. All of them will be useful in taking on the Lovecraftian threats of the game. Despite the return of some familiar face, there are also some new mechanics players can look forward to.
The introduction of a crafting system brings a whole new type of gameplay. You will be able to craft new equipment by finding blueprints, collect new weapons, and upgrade them. Of course, you’re going to need your guns, equipment, and more. You will face a variety of nightmarish enemies. From humans, to monsters, to godlike bosses from the Cthulhu mythos. All of this and more awaits you in the world of Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2.
Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is scheduled to launch on September 13, 2022 on PC. So, will you descend into a world corrupted by darkness? Will you even be able to maintain your sanity? Or will you lose yourself to madness.
