THQ Nordic’s Biomutant Heads To Next-Gen Consoles This Fall

THQ Nordic is a major video game publisher that has released a ton of popular titles. Some of its releases include Elex, Expeditions Rome, Destroy All Humans! and Desperados. The company released Biomutant in 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Today, THQ Nordic announced that the game will be releasing on next-gen consoles on 6th September 2022. The next-gen version will include various upgrades to the game and more.

This fall, players will be able to experience the action adventure game on the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as it makes its way to next-gen consoles. In this version, the developers have made a ton of fundamental improvements including native 4k, up to 60FPS and faster loading times. Furthermore, on the Xbox Series S, players can access up to 1440p. Moreover, the developers have introduced Quality, Quality Unleashed and Performance Modes on the consoles.

Biomutant Atomic Edition

PlayStation users will have added benefits from Dualsense and Activity Card Support which will improve their experience. THQ Nordic has confirmed that players that own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will receive a free upgrade to next-gen consoles along with the save files.

In Biomutant, players are thrown into a mysterious, vibrant world where the Tree of Life is bleeding from its roots. Players must navigate an open world with a unique story as they fight enemies from a third-person perspective and enjoy cool crafting options, with a mix and match system.
