But They Were All of Them Deceived, For Another Delay Was Made
In Middle Earth, years and years can pass for some creatures and it can seem like no time at all. Immortal beings like Elves can blink and a man’s entire life goes by. Unfortunately, for mortal men like us, time is precious. That is why we feel the sting of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum’s latest delay.
A few months ago, Daedalic Entertainment gave us a release date for the game. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was meant to launch on the 1st of September. That won’t be happening though.
Earlier today, Daedalic Entertainment announced that they would have to delay the game for “a few months”. The new delay might push the game’s release into 2023. There is no exact new release date though. Hopefully, we will get one in due time.

With any luck, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will still be on track for a late 2022 release. It will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The Switch version was supposed to be coming out in November, but that release is likely delayed as well. The question is, will its release still stagger behind the PC and consoles?
