The PUBG: Battlegrounds and Assassin’s Creed Collab Is Happening Next Month
PUBG: Battlegrounds is having a crossover event with a popular Ubisoft franchise next month. Krafton has confirmed that they are teaming up with the Assassin’s Creed team. This special event will begin on August 17th until September 22nd.
According to devs, this is going to be a “multi game collaboration that will bring the world of Assassin’s Creed to both PUBG: Battlegrounds and New State Mobile.” This announcement confirms that the upcoming content will be available to both the mobile and the PC or console versions.
Once the event launches, players “will have the chance to acquire Assassin’s Creed-themed items. Fans who take part in the collaboration will be given the opportunity to “participate in a series of exclusive events to earn Assassin’s Creed-themed crate tickets.” Moreover, players can also see the introduction of Abstergo Industries to the PUBG: Battlegrounds universe.
The collaboration will begin differently for New State Mobile. It will start on August 18th and will run through September 21st. It will offer more than “30 unique Assassin’s Creed-themed costumes such as Ezio’s Outfit and Shay’s Outfit, weapon skins, and collaboration crates” as well. Mobile players will also obtain some log-in rewards during this time.
Similarly, PUBG: Battlegrounds players will also get the chance to got some themed cosmetics such as bag skins, costumes, emotes, parachute skins, two sets of spray items and gun charms. They can also spot some themed resources, Leap of Faith ledges, and a “hidden Animus machine” when they visit Abstergo Industries on the Haven map.
Devs also recently revealed a new Deston map for the game since the battle royale became free to play. “The wait is over,” devs announced in a blog update. “Our ninth new map we have been testing about all this time is finally here this update.”
